Lahore, December 14, 2025: Pakistan’s men’s cricket team’s full-fledged tour of Bangladesh is expected to be rescheduled to accommodate the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

According to the Future Tour Programme, Pakistan was originally scheduled to visit Bangladesh in March-April 2026 for a series comprising two ICC World Test Championship (WTC) matches, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and three T20Is. However, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced earlier that PSL 11 will run from March 26 to May 3, creating a clash in the cricketing calendar.

A Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) source confirmed that the home series against Pakistan would be moved to a different window but reassured that the number of matches would remain unchanged.

“The series will be rescheduled,” the source said. “The two cricket boards are currently in discussion. The number of matches will not be reduced under any circumstances. The suitable window is being assessed and will be disclosed soon. ODI or T20I matches can be reshuffled within the series. The official announcement will be made after consultation with the PCB.”

The rescheduling comes as the PCB continues its international outreach to attract investors for the two new PSL franchises up for sale. As part of its global promotion strategy, the board has held roadshows at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London and in New York to engage potential investors ahead of the auction.

The PSL, which began in 2016 with five franchises and expanded to six in 2018, is set for further growth with the addition of two new teams in its 11th edition next year. This will mark the league’s first major restructuring in seven years, bringing the total number of franchises to eight.
