Rawalpindi, December 24, 2025: Pakistan’s military leadership on Wednesday emphasised that no malicious efforts, political or otherwise, aimed at undermining the country’s national unity, security, and stability will be tolerated.
The resolve was expressed during the 273rd Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC), held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi under the chairmanship of Field Marshal Asim Munir. The meeting was attended by senior military commanders and reviewed key national security issues, while also highlighting the operational capabilities of the armed forces.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the forum categorically rejected any nexus between terrorism, crime, and vested political interests. It reiterated that all designs intended to destabilise national unity or create divisions between the armed forces and the people of Pakistan would be firmly thwarted.
The conference conducted a comprehensive review of the internal and external security environment, with particular focus on evolving threats and operational preparedness. The forum reaffirmed that terrorists—especially those operating under the patronage of Indian sponsors and their facilitators—would be dealt with decisively.
In his remarks, Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the legitimate struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled stance on the Palestinian issue, calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire, unhindered humanitarian access to Gaza, and a clear pathway towards Palestinian statehood.
The forum appreciated the Balochistan Special Development Initiatives aimed at addressing terrorism linked to governance challenges and called for similar initiatives in other regions, in line with the National Action Plan to ensure lasting peace and stability.
Paying tribute to the courage, professionalism, and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces, the Chief of Army Staff highlighted their role in intelligence-based counterterrorism operations across the country. The forum noted that, due to the combined efforts of the government, armed forces, and the people of Pakistan, the country is steadily moving towards stability and greater opportunities.
In his concluding remarks, Field Marshal Munir directed commanders to maintain high standards of operational readiness, discipline, training, physical fitness, technological innovation, and battlefield adaptability. He expressed full confidence in the Pakistan Army’s ability to counter the full spectrum of threats—from conventional to hybrid—while safeguarding national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The forum also offered Fateha for the martyrs of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians who laid down their lives in recent terrorist incidents while defending the nation against foreign-sponsored terrorism.
