Rawalpindi, December 28, 2025: Security forces on Friday conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kalat District of Balochistan, targeting terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan, according to a security sources statement.

The operation was carried out on December 27 following reports about the presence of terrorists in the area. During the conduct of the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ hideout. After an intense exchange of fire, four Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralized.

A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the terrorists, who, according to officials, were actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.

Sanitization operations are currently underway to ensure that no other Indian-sponsored terrorists remain in the area.

Security sources reaffirmed that the relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue with full force. The security forces and law enforcement agencies, they said, remain committed to eliminating the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
