Pakistan reaffirms support for Yemen’s unity, welcomes call for comprehensive talks

Islamabad, January 3,2026: Pakistan has reaffirmed its strong support for the unity and territorial integrity of Yemen, while welcoming the call by Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council to hold comprehensive talks in Riyadh.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Pakistan urged all Yemeni stakeholders to engage constructively and in good faith to achieve a negotiated political solution based on agreed parameters.

The statement reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to Yemen’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and inclusive political processes to end the conflict.

Guided by the principles of unity and brotherhood, Pakistan expressed hope that ongoing regional efforts would contribute to lasting peace, stability and prosperity in Yemen.
