Islamabad, January 4, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Sunday held a telephone conversation with Bangladesh’s Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain, during which the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and discussed key regional developments.
According to an official statement, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan–Bangladesh cooperation across various sectors of mutual interest. They emphasized the importance of sustained engagement to advance shared objectives and deepen longstanding ties between the two countries.
The two leaders also exchanged views on the evolving situation in Asia and the Middle East, agreeing to remain in close contact in view of the rapidly changing regional dynamics.
The telephonic interaction reflects continued high-level diplomatic engagement between Islamabad and Dhaka, underscoring their shared commitment to dialogue, cooperation, and regional stability.
