Islamabad, January 9, 2026: Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, on Thursday called on Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Dr. Musadik Malik, in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the two sides held detailed discussions on avenues to enhance mutual and strategic cooperation, with a particular focus on climate resilience and sustainable development.
Dr. Musadik Malik outlined Pakistan’s key priorities in addressing climate change and underscored the importance of international partnerships in tackling global environmental challenges. He also appreciated Saudi Arabia’s continued support and constructive engagement with Pakistan across various sectors.
Ambassador Al-Malkiy reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation and collaboration. Both sides reiterated the deep-rooted, brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and expressed confidence that the longstanding partnership would continue to expand in the years ahead.
