Islamabad, January 8, 2026: Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Thursday visited the residence of Member National Assembly Salahuddin Junejo to offer condolences on the demise of his father, former MNA Roshan Junejo.
Expressing deep sorrow, the speaker extended his heartfelt sympathies to Salahuddin Junejo and the bereaved family, terming the loss of a parent an irreparable personal tragedy. He paid tribute to the late Roshan Junejo’s political and social services, saying his contributions would be remembered for a long time. The speaker also offered Fateha for the departed soul and prayed for patience and strength for the grieving family.
Earlier the same day, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq visited the residence of MNA Shagufta Jamani to inquire about her health. He conveyed his best wishes and prayed for her early and complete recovery, describing her as an active and effective member of the National Assembly. The speaker expressed hope that she would soon resume her participation in parliamentary proceedings.
Shagufta Jamani thanked the speaker for his visit and well wishes.
MNAs Ijaz Hussain Jakhrani, Syed Agha Rafiullah, and Syed Abdul Qadir Gillani accompanied the National Assembly speaker during the visits.
