Jeddah, January 11, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Bangladesh’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs, Md. Touhid Hossain, on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction over the robustness of Pakistan–Bangladesh relations and reviewed bilateral cooperation across a range of sectors. The discussions focused particularly on enhancing high-level exchanges, trade ties, and collaboration in the field of education.
The two dignitaries also exchanged views on various regional and global developments of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to continued engagement and cooperation.
