London, January 11, 2026: Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP), held a networking session with Pakistani diaspora members and students from Oxford and Cambridge Universities in London. High Commissioner of Pakistan to the UK, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, also attended the event.
The session aimed to strengthen engagement with overseas Pakistani youth under the umbrella of the PM Youth Program. In his keynote address, Rana Mashood highlighted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s emphasis on youth empowerment as a cornerstone of Pakistan’s prosperity.
He outlined the program’s key achievements, including Rs. 251 billion in business loans to young entrepreneurs, 364,000 skills scholarships, Rs. 250 million in scholarship grants, and support for budding athletes. He described overseas Pakistani youth as “real ambassadors of Pakistan abroad” and stressed that the government’s focus is on leveraging their potential to serve the country, particularly through skills development initiatives.
High Commissioner Dr. Mohammad Faisal reaffirmed that the Pakistan High Commission in London actively facilitates engagement of the Pakistani youth in the UK across sectors such as academics, skilled employment, tourism, and development.
