Chairman Senate offers condolences to Deputy Chairman Senate on family bereavement

Islamabad, January 17, 2026: Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Friday visited the residence of Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar in the Ministers’ Enclave to offer his condolences on the passing of the latter’s sister-in-law.

During the visit, the Chairman Senate expressed his heartfelt sympathy to Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar and the bereaved family. The deceased was the wife of Syedal Khan Nasar’s elder brother, Amanullah Khan Nasar, who passed away a few days ago.

Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani offered Fateha for the eternal peace of the departed soul and prayed for her forgiveness and elevation of ranks in the hereafter. He also prayed for patience and strength for the grieving family, saying that he shared their sorrow during this difficult time.

The Chairman Senate spent time with the family, offering words of comfort and consolation. He prayed that Allah Almighty may grant the departed soul a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bestow fortitude upon the bereaved family to bear the loss with patience.

Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar thanked Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani for his visit and expression of sympathy. Member National Assembly Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri was also present on the occasion.
