Condolences continue on demise of Deputy Chairman Senate’s sister-in-law

Islamabad, January 18, 2026: Condolence messages continued to pour in from across the country on Sunday following the demise of the wife of Amanullah Khan Nasar, elder brother of Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar.

Senior political leaders, parliamentarians and prominent personalities from various walks of life visited the Deputy Chairman Senate to express their heartfelt condolences and sympathies. Among those who offered condolences were Senator Muhammad Azam Khan Swati, Senator Abdul Qadir, Senator Sardar Dostain Khan Domki, Senator Umar Farooq, former senator Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir, former senator Sardar Fatah Muhammad Hasni, former senator Sardar Muhammad Shafiq Tareen, former senator Naseebullah Bazai, Maulana Abdul Wasay, former MNA Ajmal Wazir, Inayatullah Wazir, Khan Ahmed Khan Achakzai, Malik Fareed Achakzai, Sardar Naqeeb Khan Tareen, Haji Nazar Gul, Sardar Mujtaba, former provincial minister Nawaz Khan Kakar and former provincial minister Nasir Khan Zareen.

Besides political figures, senior officers and staff of the Senate and National Assembly were also present. A large number of other parliamentarians, government officials, lawyers, tribal elders, members of the business community, representatives of various chambers, doctors, journalists, bureaucrats and academicians also visited the residence of the Deputy Chairman Senate to share in the family’s grief.

Collective prayers and Fateha were offered for the eternal peace of the departed soul, with special prayers for forgiveness, elevation of ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and patience and fortitude for the bereaved family.

Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, parliamentarians, friends and well-wishers for their condolences and support, saying that the expressions of sympathy and solidarity during this difficult time had been a great source of strength and comfort for the family. He prayed that Almighty Allah grant the departed soul a place in His eternal mercy and bless the bereaved family with patience.

It is pertinent to mention that the wife of Amanullah Khan Nasar passed away in Quetta a few days ago after a prolonged illness and was under medical treatment. Syedal Khan Nasar and Amanullah Khan Nasar also thanked all those who visited them in Quetta and Islamabad, as well as those who conveyed their condolences through phone calls and social media.

A collective prayer was arranged on the occasion, while langar was also distributed for those who attended the condolence gathering.
