Rwanda HC highlights women-led trade at Islamabad conference

Islamabad, January 20, 2026: Ambassador Harerimana Fatou, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Pakistan, participated in the 4th All Pakistan Women Chambers Presidents International Conference on “Collective Leadership for Inclusive Growth,” organized by the Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

In her address, Ambassador Fatou emphasized the transformative potential of inclusive growth and the crucial role women chambers play in promoting economic development, entrepreneurship, and trade. She highlighted how Rwanda–Pakistan trade relations could be further strengthened through women-led economic initiatives, noting that women’s participation serves as a catalyst for sustainable development and rapid national transformation.

Concluding her remarks, the High Commissioner extended an invitation to women investors in the coffee sector to attend the Rwanda Coffee Festival 2026, scheduled for January 29 in Islamabad, promoting engagement and investment in Rwanda’s specialty coffee industry.
