Islamabad, January 30, 2026: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong and Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch on Friday jointly attended and addressed the award ceremony of the China–Pakistan 75th Anniversary Commemorative Badge Design Competition, marking a key milestone in celebrations of bilateral diplomatic relations.

Ambassador Jiang congratulated the organizers on the successful hosting of the competition and praised the three winning designs, noting that the winners—hailing from different regions and professional backgrounds—vividly reflected the shared belief among the Pakistani people that China–Pakistan friendship enjoys broad public consensus. He said the initiative helped make the “ironclad” friendship between the two countries more tangible and relatable.

Highlighting the importance of public participation, Jiang said the active engagement and support of people from both countries serve as a vital source of strength for advancing bilateral cooperation. He reaffirmed China’s commitment to working with Pakistan under a people-centered diplomacy framework to accelerate the building of a China–Pakistan community with a shared future, delivering greater benefits to the peoples of both nations.

Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch thanked China for its continued support and said the youth-focused competition received more than 2,000 submissions, underscoring the deep-rooted foundation of Pakistan–China friendship and the strong, sincere sentiments of the younger generation toward China. She added that Pakistan would leverage the momentum of this initiative to organize a series of commemorative activities marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, ensuring that the enduring friendship is carried forward and passed on to future generations.
