Islamabad, February 2, 2026: The Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad organised a solemn ceremony of prayer and meditation to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, on the 100th day since her passing.
Mr. Rongvudhi Virabutr, Ambassador of Thailand to Pakistan, led officials and staff of the Embassy and the Office of the Defense Attaché, along with their spouses, in offering the Dhammaniyama Sutta prayer (The Discourse on the Natural Law) and meditation as a mark of homage to Her Majesty.
As part of the observance, the Embassy also hosted the “Uniting the Power of Loyalty” activity, during which participants pledged their loyalty to the Thai Monarchy and sang the Royal Anthem, reflecting deep respect and reverence for the late Queen.
