Iranian Ambassador condemns Islamabad terror attack, expresses solidarity with Pakistan

Islamabad, February 6,2026: Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Islamabad that targeted worshippers during Friday prayers, resulting in multiple casualties and injuries.

“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, I strongly condemn the hideous terrorist attack in Islamabad during the Friday prayers which led to the martyrdom and injury of tens of innocent civilians,” the envoy said in a statement.

The ambassador extended heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Pakistan, particularly the families who lost their loved ones in the attack.

“I extend my sincere and deepest condolences and sympathy to the Government and the people of Pakistan, particularly to the bereaved families,” he stated.

Expressing solidarity with the victims, the ambassador added, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost their loved ones, and we pray for the safe and speedy recovery of the injured.”

He also prayed for the departed, saying, “May Allah Almighty grant His blessings to the martyrs and bless them with eternal peace in Jannat-ul-Firdous.”
