Islamabad, February 9, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level meeting on Monday to discuss measures aimed at boosting economic growth, expanding trade and investment opportunities, and safeguarding the interests of businesses and exporters.
The discussions underscored the importance of close collaboration with chambers of commerce to further promote trade and drive sustainable economic development in the country.
The meeting was attended by the Minister for Commerce, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Bajwa, the Minister of State for Finance and Railways, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and other key stakeholders.
