Islamabad, February 23,2026: The Royal Thai Embassy in Islamabad hosted the “Iftar Dinner 2026” event, bringing together Thai Muslims, students, and members of the Thai community in Pakistan to break the fast and strengthen their bonds in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The Ambassador presided over and delivered the opening remarks.

In his remarks, the Ambassador noted that Ramadan is a sacred period that teaches patience (Sabr), spiritual purification, and mindfulness of the less fortunate, reflecting the values of sacrifice and generosity. He emphasized that although Thais living abroad may come from diverse religious backgrounds, what unites everyone is their shared Thai identity.

The event also underscored the Embassy’s role in safeguarding the well-being of Thai nationals, fostering unity, and serving as a hub that connects the Thai community abroad, while upholding Thailand’s rich multicultural values. The Embassy remains committed to organizing such activities annually.

In closing, the Ambassador extended his wishes that Ramadan bring happiness, prosperity, and good health to all participants and their families, in a spirit of friendship and goodwill.
