Islamabad, March 1, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, on Sunday held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, to discuss the rapidly evolving regional situation.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan (Office of the Spokesperson), the two leaders expressed serious concern over the ongoing escalation in the region and underscored the urgent need for restraint, dialogue, and de-escalation to preserve peace and stability.
Both sides agreed on the importance of diplomatic engagement and resolved to remain in close contact as developments continue to unfold.
The conversation reflects Islamabad’s and Muscat’s shared emphasis on diplomacy and peaceful resolution amid heightened regional tensions.
