Amsterdam, March 2,2026: Ambassador Syed Haider Shah visited the Head Office of SPAR International in Amsterdam and met with Mr. David Moor, Director and Member of the Board.

SPAR is among the world’s leading food retail chains. It has invested in 6 stores in Karachi with Galaxy International, a private company owned by the Burque Group representing leading global brands such as Nestlé and Unilever. It has ambitious plans to expand to multi-format outlets, ranging from convenience stores to large supermarkets, across the country in the coming years.

The Ambassador underscored the Embassy’s continued support and facilitation for reputable international brands seeking to expand their footprint in Pakistan, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to fostering trade, investment, and mutually beneficial partnerships.
