Islamabad, March 7, 2026: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Mohamad Hasan, the Foreign Minister of Malaysia, to discuss the evolving regional situation.
According to a brief statement issued by the Foreign Office, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments in the region and emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and stability.
Both sides expressed hope that tensions would ease through diplomatic efforts and agreed to remain in close contact regarding the evolving situation.
Pakistan and Malaysia share longstanding friendly relations and regularly engage at diplomatic levels on issues of mutual interest and regional developments.
