Islamabad, March 8, 2026: Ambassador of Sweden to Pakistan, Alexandra Berg von Linde, has paid tribute to the strength and achievements of Pakistani women on International Women’s Day.

In her message marking the occasion, the envoy said the day is an opportunity to celebrate women whose strength and dedication help move communities, workplaces, and families forward every day.

The ambassador noted that during her tenure in Pakistan she has met countless remarkable women making significant contributions in different fields.

“They are pioneers in business, champions of education, innovators, and leaders driving change in their own unique ways,” she said.

She added that the achievements of women demonstrate that when they are given equal opportunities to grow and succeed, societies do not merely progress but truly thrive.

The Swedish envoy concluded her message by extending warm wishes to women in Pakistan and around the world on International Women’s Day.
