Islamabad, March 10, 2026: Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, held a telephonic conversation with Wang Yi, Foreign Minister of China, to discuss the evolving situation in the Middle East and broader global developments.
During the call, Ishaq Dar shared Pakistan’s perspective on the regional tensions and highlighted the urgent need to reduce hostilities in the Middle East and the wider region.
Foreign Minister Wang Yi welcomed Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting de-escalation and regional stability. Both leaders stressed the importance of pursuing dialogue and diplomacy in line with the principles of the United Nations Charter.
The conversation also reaffirmed the enduring strength of the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, with both sides reiterating their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and agreeing to remain in close contact on matters of mutual interest.
