Islamabad, March 11, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a late-night telephone conversation with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to discuss the evolving regional situation, including recent attacks on Kuwait.
During the call, the two leaders expressed deep concern over the latest developments in the region. Dar conveyed Pakistan’s solidarity with the leadership and people of Kuwait in light of the attacks and reaffirmed Islamabad’s support during this challenging time.
The deputy prime minister also emphasized the urgent need for dialogue and de-escalation to help restore peace and stability in the region.
Both sides exchanged views on matters currently under consideration at the United Nations Security Council and underscored the importance of diplomatic efforts to address the situation.
The conversation also reaffirmed the longstanding and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, with both leaders expressing commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The development comes amid rising tensions in the wider Middle East region, prompting diplomatic engagement among regional and international partners.
