Pakistan expresses solidarity with Ethiopia after deadly floods and landslides

Islamabad, March 16, 2026: Pakistan has expressed deep sorrow over the devastating floods and landslides that have struck Ethiopia, causing loss of life and widespread damage.

In a message of condolence, Pakistan extended its sympathies to the government and people of Ethiopia during this difficult time. The statement said that the thoughts and prayers of the Pakistani people are with the affected communities who are suffering from the impact of the natural disaster.

Pakistan also commended the efforts of Ethiopian authorities and emergency responders who are working tirelessly to provide relief and assistance to those in need.

Reaffirming its solidarity, Pakistan expressed its readiness to support the people of Ethiopia and assist in relief efforts in any way possible.
