Islamabad, March 18, 2026: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will undertake an official visit to Riyadh from March 18 to 19 to participate in a high-level meeting of regional foreign ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday.
The visit comes at the invitation of Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, as regional stakeholders prepare to deliberate on the evolving security situation and recent geopolitical developments.
During the meeting, Senator Ishaq Dar is expected to reaffirm Pakistan’s unwavering support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and political independence of all brotherly countries in the region. He will also call for an immediate halt to attacks on their territories, underscoring the importance of restraint.
The Deputy Prime Minister will reiterate Pakistan’s position on the urgent need for a swift end to the ongoing conflict and emphasize the necessity of returning to dialogue and diplomacy as the only viable path forward.
He is also set to highlight Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic outreach efforts and its willingness to continue playing a constructive and pivotal role in addressing the grave security challenges facing the region.
