Islamabad, March 18, 2026: Pakistan’s Special Representative on Afghanistan Muhammad Sadiq Khan held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan, Albert P. Khorev, in Islamabad on Wednesday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on evolving regional developments and the broader security landscape.

The two officials also exchanged views on the impact of cross-border terrorism on regional peace and stability, underscoring the need for enhanced cooperation to address shared security challenges.

Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continued diplomatic engagement to promote stability and strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Russia.
