Islamabad, April 8, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation on Wednesday night with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss the evolving situation in the Middle East.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders exchanged views on the rapidly changing regional dynamics and broader developments across the Middle East.
During the conversation, Dar briefed his Saudi counterpart on Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting dialogue and de-escalation. He highlighted Islamabad’s continued engagement with key stakeholders to facilitate peaceful solutions and ensure long-term stability in the region.
Both sides underscored the importance of diplomatic engagement and coordination in addressing current challenges, reaffirming their shared commitment to peace and regional stability.
