Islamabad, April 9, 2026: Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Chairman of the Senate, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of the sister of Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, Speaker of the Punjab Assembly.
In a condolence message issued by the Senate of Pakistan Secretariat’s Media Directorate, Chairman Gilani termed the passing of the deceased as an irreparable loss and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family. He stated that in this hour of grief and sorrow, he stands in solidarity with Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan and his family.
The Senate Chairman prayed for the elevation of the departed soul’s ranks and sought forgiveness for the deceased. He further prayed that Almighty Allah grants her a place in His eternal mercy and blesses the bereaved family with patience and fortitude to bear this profound loss.
