Islamabad, April 10, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Tom Berendsen, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday.
During the conversation, the two leaders exchanged views on evolving regional developments. The Dutch foreign minister commended Pakistan’s role in facilitating a ceasefire and expressed support for its continued diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability.
Both sides also voiced concern over serious ceasefire violations in Lebanon, underscoring the importance of full implementation and strict adherence to the agreement to ensure sustained peace in the region.
Reaffirming the strength of Pakistan–Netherlands relations, the two foreign ministers expressed their commitment to further enhancing cooperation in trade, economic, and investment sectors.
The discussion reflects the growing diplomatic engagement between Islamabad and The Hague and highlights their shared interest in promoting regional stability and deepening bilateral ties.
