Islamabad, April 14, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Governor of Sindh Nehal Hashmi, during which matters related to governance, economic development, and public welfare were discussed.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated the Sindh Governor on assuming office on March 13, 2026, and extended best wishes for a successful tenure. He expressed hope that the Governor would play a constructive role in strengthening administrative coordination and improving service delivery.
Both leaders exchanged views on key issues related to governance and development priorities in the province. The discussion also focused on improving public welfare initiatives and ensuring effective implementation of development programmes.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar underscored the federal government’s commitment to continued cooperation with provincial administrations, emphasizing that sustained coordination between federal and provincial institutions is essential for promoting economic progress and ensuring better public services.
The meeting reflected the government’s broader approach to strengthening federal–provincial collaboration for inclusive development across the country.
