Rilee Rossouw becomes first overseas player to complete 100 PSL matches

Karachi, April 15, 2026: Rilee Rossouw etched his name in history on Wednesday by completing 100 matches in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) during Quetta Gladiators’ clash against arch-rivals Peshawar Zalmi at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.

With this achievement, Rossouw became only the fourth player to reach the milestone and the first overseas cricketer to play 100 PSL matches, underlining his enduring impact on Pakistan’s premier T20 tournament.

To commemorate the occasion, Quetta Gladiators owner Nadeem Omar presented Rossouw with a special souvenir ahead of the match. The trophy featured a striking gold gladiator-themed helmet mounted on a wooden base.

“Presented to The Immortal Gladiator Rilee Rossouw for his exceptional performances in the Pakistan Super League from Nadeem Omar, Owner, Quetta Gladiators.”

Rossouw made his PSL debut in 2017 with Quetta Gladiators and has since appeared in 10 consecutive seasons of the tournament. His early years with Quetta culminated in the franchise’s historic title win in 2019.

The left-handed batter later joined Multan Sultans, where he played four seasons and secured his second PSL title in 2021. He returned to Quetta Gladiators in the 2024 edition and has remained a key figure in their lineup ever since.

Rossouw ranks among the top five run-scorers in PSL history. In 94 innings prior to the milestone match, he amassed 2,366 runs at an impressive average of 31.54 and a strike rate of 144.53, including three centuries and 11 half-centuries.

His consistent performances, explosive batting, and loyalty to the league have cemented his reputation as one of the PSL’s most celebrated overseas stars.

The milestone not only highlights Rossouw’s individual brilliance but also underscores the Pakistan Super League’s growing stature as a global T20 competition attracting top international talent.
