Islamabad, April 18, 2026: The Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan, Paulo Guedes Domingues, accompanied by his spouse Carla Sofia Domingues and members of the embassy team, visited the iconic Faisal Mosque.
The delegation was received by the Grand Imam, Muhammad Ilyas, who offered insights into the mosque’s history, its unique architectural design, and its central role in Pakistan’s religious and community life.
The visit provided an opportunity to promote a deeper understanding of Islamic culture and traditions, while reinforcing intercultural dialogue and mutual respect between Portugal and Pakistan.
