Karachi, April 18, 2026: Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bat first against Rawalpindiz in the 27th match of the Pakistan Super League Season 11 at the National Bank Stadium on Saturday.

The fixture marks the first-ever meeting between the two sides in PSL history, adding an extra layer of intrigue for fans and analysts.

Both teams are under pressure, languishing at the bottom of the points table and seeking a much-needed victory to revive their campaigns. The three-time champions, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, are currently placed seventh with two wins in six matches and are on a three-game losing streak. A win would help them climb above Karachi Kings in the standings.

Meanwhile, the Mohammad Rizwan-led Rawalpindiz are on the brink of elimination after suffering six consecutive defeats in the tournament. They will be aiming for their first win to keep their slim hopes alive in the competition.

With both sides desperate to turn their fortunes around, the match promises a high-stakes contest in the ongoing PSL season.
