Islamabad, April 27, 2026: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on Monday evening, discussing the latest developments in the regional situation.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both leaders exchanged views on evolving regional dynamics and stressed the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement for peace and stability.
The UK Foreign Secretary appreciated Pakistan’s facilitation and continued efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy in the region.
Both sides underscored the need for continued engagement to support peace and stability not only in the region but also beyond, and agreed to remain in contact going forward.
