Turkish Ambassador meets Ishaq Dar, conveys Erdogan’s support for Pakistan’s peace efforts

Islamabad, May 1, 2026: Irfan Neziroglu, the Ambassador of Turkiye to Pakistan, called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Friday.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Turkish envoy conveyed the appreciation and support of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for Pakistan’s ongoing efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the Middle East.

During the meeting, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting lasting peace and stability in the region amid evolving geopolitical challenges.

The two sides also discussed the close coordination between Pakistan and Turkiye and highlighted the importance of regular high-level exchanges between the brotherly countries.

The deputy prime minister appreciated the strong bilateral ties and reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to further strengthen the strategic partnership with Turkiye across multiple sectors.
