Islamabad, May 5, 2026: Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the ambassador congratulated Pakistan on what he described as its “decisive success” on the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, and reaffirmed the strength of the long-standing “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” between Pakistan and China.
The two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and expressed satisfaction over the depth and stability of cooperation across multiple sectors.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening the “iron-clad” strategic partnership with China, emphasizing continued collaboration in economic, political and development fields.
Both sides reaffirmed their resolve to maintain close coordination and advance shared objectives under the long-standing framework of bilateral friendship and strategic cooperation.
