Dubai, November 12, 2024-The International Cricket Council (ICC) has awarded Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Noman Ali the Men’s Player of the Month and New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr the Women’s Player of the Month for October 2024.

Noman earned the recognition after a standout performance in Pakistan’s recent three-match Test series victory against England. Kerr played a crucial role in New Zealand’s triumph in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup held in the UAE last month.

The winners were selected through a fan vote on the ICC website and a panel of ICC Hall of Famers, former players, and media representatives.

Expressing his gratitude, Noman said, “I am delighted to be named the ICC Men’s Player of the Month and deeply grateful to my teammates for their support in helping Pakistan achieve this historic win.” Kerr, meanwhile, called the award an “honour,” reflecting on the significance of the World Cup win for her team and family.

Kerr won the award over nominees Deandra Dottin and Laura Wolvaardt, while Noman surpassed Kagiso Rabada and Mitchell Santner.
