Dar, Egyptian FM discuss regional situation, stress diplomatic engagement

Islamabad, June 1, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, to discuss the evolving situation in the region and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday, the two foreign ministers exchanged views on the latest regional developments and underscored the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement to address emerging challenges.

Both leaders emphasized the need for continued dialogue and coordination at this critical juncture to support regional peace, security, and stability.

The two sides also agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on matters of mutual interest and regional significance.
