Dubai, November 13,2024- The International Cricket Council (ICC) has launched a fresh visual identity for both the men’s and women’s Champions Trophy, bringing a unique and energetic twist to the renowned tournament’s branding.

Known for its intense, high-stakes format, the Champions Trophy brings the world’s top teams together in a two-week showdown where every match is crucial. The men’s event makes a comeback after six years, while a brand-new women’s T20 edition is set to debut, with players competing for the coveted Champions Trophy white jackets.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ICC highlighted that the Champions Trophy will now occur every two years, with the men’s event as an ODI competition for the top eight teams, alternating with the women’s T20 version for the top six teams. The visual identity is designed to be digital-first and visually striking, aiming to stand out with its bold and lively typography. The unconventional logo and vibrant graphics reflect the language and culture of cricket, celebrating the unique terms and cheers associated with the game.

ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya commented, “The return of the men’s ICC Champions Trophy, alongside the introduction of a women’s event, offered an ideal opportunity to create a refreshed, vibrant identity. The brand’s bold and lively style echoes the competition’s intensity, while the iconic white jackets pay homage to the event’s history and global appeal.”

With this updated branding, the ICC aims to capture the excitement of the Champions Trophy’s thrilling format and celebrate the tradition and passion that define the sport.

This may be mentioned here that the next tournament of the Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held in Pakistan in February 2025 where Pakistan will defend its title.
