Islamabad, June 30, 2026: The Ambassador of Sweden to Pakistan, Alex Berg von Linde, has extended warm congratulations to renowned Pakistani businessman, philanthropist, and educationist Syed Babar Ali on the occasion of his 100th birthday.
On behalf of the people and Government of Sweden, Ambassador Alex paid tribute to Syed Babar Ali’s extraordinary contributions to Pakistan, describing him as a visionary leader, philanthropist, and tireless champion of education whose lifelong dedication has inspired generations.
The ambassador also acknowledged his longstanding friendship with Sweden and his significant role in strengthening Sweden–Pakistan relations through his services as Sweden’s Honorary Consul in Pakistan.
