Islamabad, July 14, 2026: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Tuesday called for transforming the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia into a stronger economic partnership by capitalising on the investment opportunities created under Saudi Vision 2030.
Speaking at a business session titled “KSA Vision 2030 & Saudi-Pakistan Investment Opportunities,” Acting ICCI President Tahir Ayub said enhanced commercial diplomacy, stronger private-sector collaboration and increased investment could open a new chapter of shared prosperity for both countries.

Welcoming the delegation, Tahir Ayub said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy an enduring relationship built on shared faith, mutual trust and longstanding friendship. He noted that Saudi Vision 2030 has become one of the world’s most ambitious economic transformation programmes, creating significant investment opportunities in infrastructure, tourism, logistics, manufacturing, information technology, healthcare, renewable energy, mining and financial services.
He said Pakistan offers an attractive destination for investors due to its strategic geographical location, competitive workforce, expanding digital economy, abundant natural resources and strong potential in sectors including agriculture, mining, information technology, tourism, manufacturing and renewable energy.
The acting ICCI president reaffirmed the chamber’s commitment to serving as a bridge between the business communities of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia by facilitating business-to-business networking, identifying reliable local partners, organising trade and investment exchanges, and supporting joint ventures.
He urged private-sector stakeholders from both countries to convert dialogue into practical business partnerships that contribute to sustainable economic growth.
Addressing the gathering, Al Raee Group Chairman Bilal Mohammad Zubair highlighted his company’s role as one of Saudi Arabia’s leading business setup and investment facilitation firms.
