Rawalpindi, July 27, 2026: General Syed Aamer Raza, HI(M), SBt, was presented a Guard of Honour on Monday after assuming charge as Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC).
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the newly appointed commander laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada and offered Fateha to pay tribute to the martyrs.
Later, General Aamer Raza called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI(M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
During the meeting, Field Marshal Asim Munir congratulated General Aamer Raza on assuming command of the National Strategic Command and extended his best wishes for his new responsibilities.
