Islamabad, August 19, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and discussed recent regional developments and efforts to promote peace and stability.
During the telephone conversation, Fidan invited Dar to attend the upcoming Regional 4 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of Pakistan, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, scheduled to be held in Istanbul later this month.
Dar accepted the invitation and confirmed his participation in the meeting.
The talks focused on regional developments and the importance of continued diplomatic efforts to strengthen peace and stability in the region.
The meeting in Istanbul is expected to provide an opportunity for the four countries to exchange views on regional challenges and explore avenues for closer coordination and cooperation.
