Islamabad, August 25, 2026: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah, particularly the people of Pakistan, on the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, saying the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ provide a universal model of mercy, justice, tolerance, brotherhood and respect for human dignity.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said the noble life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ was an exemplary model for humanity and emphasised the values of love, equality, fraternity, justice, forbearance and good character.
He said the Holy Prophet ﷺ, through his exemplary conduct, taught humanity the principles of peace, equality, brotherhood and respect for human dignity. Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ, he added, provided an opportunity to renew the commitment to incorporating these teachings into individual and collective lives and promoting love, mutual respect and tolerance in society.
The Speaker said love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ was an essential part of faith, while the true expression of that love required Muslims to follow his teachings and exemplary way of life.
He emphasised that the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ were not confined to any particular nation, class or religion but embodied a universal message of mercy, justice, equality, tolerance and respect for all humanity.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said the Holy Prophet ﷺ accorded fundamental importance to justice, human dignity and protection of rights, without discrimination on the basis of religion, colour, race or social status, and treated Muslims and non-Muslims alike with justice, kindness and tolerance.
He said Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ was not merely an occasion for expressing joy and devotion but also an opportunity for self-accountability, self-reform and renewing the commitment to following the noble example of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
The Speaker stressed the need to emulate the Prophetic model in personal character, social dealings and collective conduct, saying the challenges confronting the Muslim Ummah could be addressed through unity, mutual respect and adherence to the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
He called for greater unity and solidarity among Muslims by rising above sectarianism, prejudice and mutual differences. He also urged religious scholars and spiritual leaders to play their role, in the light of Seerah, in promoting brotherhood, tolerance, forbearance and inter-sectarian harmony.
The Speaker stressed the importance of acquainting the younger generation with the golden principles of the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq also highlighted the comprehensive guidance provided by the Seerah regarding the rights, dignity and protection of women, children and all segments of society.
Expressing concern over incidents of violence against women and children, he called for collective efforts to provide women with dignity, security and equal opportunities and to ensure the education, upbringing, healthcare and protection of children.
He said the complete protection of the rights, dignity and honour of every member of society, particularly women and children, was essential for building a peaceful and civilised society.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said adherence to the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ could help promote peace, brotherhood and collective welfare.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to bless Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah with peace, progress, prosperity, unity and stability and grant the nation strength and guidance to follow the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah also felicitated the Muslim Ummah and the people of Pakistan on Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ.
He said the blessed life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ was a source of guidance and enlightenment for all humanity, adding that the Prophet ﷺ taught the principles of justice, equality, brotherhood, tolerance and love for humanity.
The Deputy Speaker said adherence to these principles could help promote peace and fraternity in society. He stressed that Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ should serve as an occasion to strengthen the unity of the Muslim Ummah and national cohesion by following the noble example of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah called for avoiding sectarianism and mutual hatred and promoting unity, tolerance and mutual respect.
He also prayed that Almighty Allah bless Pakistan and the Muslim Ummah with peace, unity and prosperity and grant Muslims the ability to act upon the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
