Pakistan condoles with Algeria over devastating wildfires

Algiers, August 27, 2026: Pakistan has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and injuries caused by devastating wildfires that have affected several wilayas of Algeria.

In a statement, the Embassy of Pakistan in Algeria extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, as well as to the government and people of Algeria, over the loss of lives in the tragedy.

The embassy said Pakistan stood in solidarity with the Algerian people during the difficult time and shared their grief over the devastating fires.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this tragedy,” the embassy said.

Pakistan also expressed sympathy for those injured and affected by the wildfires and conveyed its support to the Algerian people as they cope with the aftermath of the disaster.
