Islamabad, September 8, 2026: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the “cowardly” Houthi attack targeting civilian and energy facilities in Saudi Arabia, which left several people injured.
In a statement, the prime minister expressed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said such “dastardly attacks” not only endanger innocent lives but also pose a serious threat to regional peace and security.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, security and territorial integrity and prayed for the swift and complete recovery of all those injured in the attack.
