ISLAMABAD, November 25, 2025: Oil dealers have warned of an impending fuel shortage in Islamabad and Rawalpindi as road closures due to ongoing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protests disrupt supply chains.

Several petrol stations in the twin cities are at risk of running out of fuel, with dealers cautioning that existing stocks could be depleted if deliveries do not resume promptly.

The Petroleum Division has acknowledged the looming crisis and issued directives to ensure an uninterrupted supply of fuel. In a circular released on Monday, the division urged all stakeholders to take immediate steps to maintain adequate supplies.
