Islamabad, October 6,2026: Chairman Pakistan International Human Rights Organisation (PIHRO) Habib Malik Orakzai held a detailed and productive meeting with Executive Director Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) Asim Khan Goraya to discuss the outreach programme of the Youth Parliament for Human Rights (YPHR).
The meeting focused on opportunities for collaboration aimed at promoting youth engagement, leadership development, human rights awareness and capacity building.
Both sides agreed to jointly organise an event for members of the Youth Parliament for Human Rights, with a particular focus on empowering young people, enhancing their leadership skills and creating greater awareness about human rights.
Habib Malik Orakzai said that empowering the youth was essential for building a responsible and inclusive society, adding that meaningful platforms should be provided to young people to develop their leadership potential and contribute positively to society.
The meeting also expressed the commitment to strengthen cooperation between PIHRO and PIPS and undertake further initiatives for youth development and human rights awareness in Pakistan.
