Islamabad, October 11,2026: Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Türkiye have strongly condemned the ongoing Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, including strikes targeting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh that resulted in civilian deaths and injuries and damage to civilian infrastructure.
In a joint statement issued by Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday, the four countries, collectively known as the R4 Group, described the attacks as a blatant violation of international law and a serious threat to regional and international security.
The group said the attacks violated Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and posed a direct threat to the kingdom’s security, stability and civilian population.
It termed the escalation unacceptable under any pretext and reaffirmed its solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
The statement also expressed the group’s full support for all legitimate measures Riyadh takes to counter the attacks, deter threats and prevent their recurrence, in accordance with the United Nations Charter and international law.
Holding the Houthi militia fully responsible for the consequences of the attacks, the four countries warned that further escalation could threaten regional and international peace and security.
The group called for an immediate and unconditional halt to all Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia.
