Islamabad, October 12,2026: Foreign Secretary Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad on Monday called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar after formally assuming charge at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, Dar appreciated Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad’s contributions during his tenure as Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.
He also wished the newly appointed foreign secretary success in his new responsibilities.
